Susie spent nine weeks on tour with Mr. O'Grady. Ghastly, ghastly man......Forgot to mention this one:
1993 - A mate of mine wangled backstage passes to the Gay Pride event in London. While we were sipping free wine and gorging on cucumber & salmon sarnies, I popped out to the portaloo. While stood in line, I heard 'Bloody hell, I'm freezing!" from behind in a scouse accent (it was an unusually cold day in June). It was none other than Lily Savage, full wig etc, having just come off stage. We chit-chatted about how rubbish the weather was for June and he was nice enough to pose for a picture. I have to add that he stayed 'in character', so I can't tell how the 'real' Paul O'Grady is. Still, funny girl our Lil!![]()
Peter Mandelson was utterly self-controlled, very statesmanlike and completely untrustworthy, but he had the most beautifully kept hair of anyone I have ever met, man or woman.![]()

Lembit Opik: The only one i've actually had a proper conversation with.
very easily 'distracted' by a pretty face.
Paula Radcliffe - I was surprised . . . she was lovely, down to earth and very nice
She does, but a lot of them don't - and it's not only because they get asked inane questions immediately after they have won/lost miserably. To get to the top in most sports requires very unusual levels of concentration and the three or four international athletes that I know are utterly self-centred and tbh not the sort you would want to spend much time with. Why was you surprised? [Paula Radcliffe] has always seemed happy, very personable & coming over well in interviews.
Cheryl Baker - arrogant & devoid of talent
okey coke...here you go
