Isn't weather due to climate?
It is hardly justification for doing it unless that revenue is needed to protect properties on British soil.
It isn't the weatheer which is really the issue here but where people are choosing to live (by water courses, on flood plains etc)
I bet you're going to tell me that the earth is round now!Gav, have you considered joining The Flat Earth Society?
It's worse than that. You live in Yorkshire.Bugger! We live half a metre below sea level!
Weather is today, Climate is the long term average. As a result there has been climate change as long as there has been weather. Go figure.Isn't weather due to climate?
At least it's not snowing! Oh Bugger! It's worse than that. You live in Yorkshire.
LOL global warming is just a term, some areas get hotter some colder.
Climatic change which unseasonable cold weather in March could well be attributed global warming.
You wouldn't be working for H&S by any chance? That would explain your reasonning. The problem with "common sense" is it's not that common and often not that sensible. 'Simple' seems the most apt word...
Weather forecasters can't accurately forecast what type of weather we are going to get tomorrow, so I cannot take them seriously when they try to forecast weather armageddon in the future. .
