Who uses a blender for making soup? Any really simple recipe ideas?

Mrs P did for a while,sadly not since her dad moved in,it was superb real good taste and full bodied.

Just boil veg and blend it with a bit of salt and pepper. any other herbs or spices to taste. i often add apples.
