Having grew up watching tom baker i havent really seen the current crop , i did watch the special where the new doctor appeared and wasnt impressed enough to watch any more .

Thing is that the Doctors tend to improve over time

The actor and writers seem to get to know each other a bit better and things get better
and, of course, the people watching it get into the new character and possibly new companions

I though Ncuti was better in series 2 than the start of series 1
not sure about the rest of series one as "something went wrong" an I missed a few of them!

I haven't watched the new series yet but I was pretty sure he was leaving, not something that ever bothered be as 20 years ago I knew Christopher Eccleston was leaving before Series 1 was even finished!

No idea on who the next Dr Who should be, I'd like another woman as I feel Jodie Whitaker got a raw deal with poor stories, so yeah I'll go Billie Piper.
