You forgot me
It doesn't seem to make much sense to me on short bike ride. It all feels the same whether my weight is 79 or 72 kg. The difference is a whole bike to some people, and an awful lot/little of expensive carbon.
I'm the opposite.... I carry the kitchen sink .... Just in case I need it!![]()

I even have a bungee cord permanently in my spacious panniers, in case I want to tie something on the rack too
Sometimes, when the wind blows hard, I carry extra, needless stuff to keep grounded on the commute!
