Who's looking forward to commuting this winter?

In between here and there
I wouldn't say I was looking forward to it, as I much prefer riding in warm conditions, but I'll still commute. Only missed 2-3 days last winter, due to very icy conditions.

The best thing about winter is the macho willy-waving on here! "Yeah, well I did my 25 mile e/w commute to Antarctica on 23mm slicks and didn't wear gloves....etc"
I wear bib shorts, road shoes and short sleeves until it hits -5c, only then do I need my 3/4 bibs..

My commuter now is something I can control a bit easier, so hopefully wont come off this winter.

I do have all the right kit and wrap up warm in winter. The cold isnt really the problem, its when you loose feeling to your fingers and toes that annoys me most.

Then you haven't got the right kit.

The Bristol Railway Path first light after heavy snow. Eerily quiet, except for the snow crunching under your wheels. Bit of a bobsleigh run, but fun nonetheless.
