I value mine too but it's deffo not cold enough to do any knee damage yet surely

Not in tonight's topsy turvy weather, I think its 9deg and 12deg tomorrow, week before last it was -3deg

Went out today and instantly regretted wearing my base Layer under my bib shorts.
First climb and I was overheating big time which made me so uncomfortable.
Weather been crap lately but still pretty mild I reckon.

Yet to crack out the longs yet, only had one ride this I autumn when I regretted wearing shorts and that was on a day with frost.

I'm going for a longish ride with a few others tomorrow. I think i'll wear shorts as it has to be "mild". I can't decide though whether to put some false tan on my legs as my natural tan is fading.

Been in Tights' for all commutes the year round. & for most 'pleasure'/training rides since September


However, on two-legs, I've only worn tights once this year & that was Sunday 22nd November, with quite a frost on the ground
Then again, it was 04:30 when I left the house to run to work

Yip,shorts all year round for me.
After a few miles of trails,my legs have warmed up nicely

Longs for me. Don't mind feeling slightly to hot in the legs but really dislike feeling cold.

Still in shorts which seems weird at this time of year - for me anyway. I have worn my longs once this Autumn/winter when it was very cold a couple of weeks ago. I do enjoy wearing my longs - means I get an extra day or two without having to shave my legs

Done one in tights and thought it was excessive! Think gloves are always the things that make me overheat. The cold snap has definitely not hit yet!

So that white stuff on the hills around is....? And what about that hard glass like stuff on the ground that almost had me on my ar** yesterday?

I have some football training longs with decent length zips on. I sometimes wear them over cycle shorts and if it gets too warm i unzip the bottoms and roll them up to knee length..It's nice to have that option if it gets too warm.

.....yep, shorts and flip-flops for me....... body like mine shame to keep it hidden away.......
