What's wrong with the plastic mount and rubber rings that ship with garmins??

I paid less than £5 for one on eBay but I just found more of them for under £3. I might as well buy two more so I have one mount per bike.

I just buy garmins that come with mounts then had a warranty replacement and garmin sent me a new mount too..

I have bought a few cheap things from China. The purchases often take weeks to arrive, but I don't have any complaints about what was supplied.

Nothing........but, as I said, I wanted a mount which would allow access to the USB port while the Garmin was in use. Not possible using the supplied mount on the stem.

I've started noticing that I've adopted a 'I'll pay slightly more' attitude. I bought a mini pump for a fiver because well, it was a fiver. It was absolutely crap. I ended up spending £15 on another mini pump that was reduced and it's absolutely perfect. Same goes for locks, bottle cages, anything else I throw on the bike. I pay enough for quality but not too much.
