Why should I spend more time in the English Countryside?

Maybe your living in the wrong bit. Here in the foothills of the cambrian mountains, we have red kites, sparrow hawks buzzards, barn owls, as well as yellow hammers robins, bulfinches, woodpeckers and loads of other birds, along with otters, badgers stoats, weasels and 101 other things. ! Luck of the draw I suppose, she says looking rather smug.

Not sure it is needed in the city, most folks wont approach you anyway in the city.
Start up a conversation in the countryside with someone and they will think your friendly , do the same in the city they will think your a nutter
