Why would you move to South?

Yes, it's everywhere south of the Tweed
Phew, thank goodness for that I am still in the North by not very much

I have lived in Aberystwyth. It is a beautiful place in summer. The only problem is that it takes ages to get anywhere.
I was thinking of the fact that if you went west you would end up in the sea***, but actually they are the kind of places that I probably wouldn't want to leave if I lived there.

*** I suppose that if you were in Penzance, you could move to St Just!

I remember the story my mother told me of an elderly couple of Scots who had traveled South, disliked the changes in lifestyle and went back home

Their definition of "South" was Inverness
Mrs M moved south when she was 17, to Inverness. She kept moving southwards. But not over the Tweed. She would like to start heading back Northwards again. I think she thinks you lot smell.

I'm assuming she managed to circumnavigate Dundee?
