Worth moving North to get away from those pompous SouthernersIt's worth moving south to get away from northerners.
I was thinking of the fact that if you went west you would end up in the sea***, but actually they are the kind of places that I probably wouldn't want to leave if I lived there.I have lived in Aberystwyth. It is a beautiful place in summer. The only problem is that it takes ages to get anywhere.
Just about....I was thinking of the fact that if you went west you would end up in the sea***, but actually they are the kind of places that I probably wouldn't want to leave if I lived there.
*** I suppose that if you were in Penzance, you could move to St Just!![]()
I moved south a few years ago.
Although it did not involve crossing the border into Englandshire.
Mrs M moved south when she was 17, to Inverness. She kept moving southwards. But not over the Tweed. She would like to start heading back Northwards again. I think she thinks you lot smell.I remember the story my mother told me of an elderly couple of Scots who had traveled South, disliked the changes in lifestyle and went back home
Their definition of "South" was Inverness
I'm assuming she managed to circumnavigate Dundee?Mrs M moved south when she was 17, to Inverness. She kept moving southwards. But not over the Tweed. She would like to start heading back Northwards again. I think she thinks you lot smell.
Yebbut.... if you live by the coast, 180 degrees of your world is cold saltwater. It's limiting.South isn't just London.
Living on the South Coast I live closer to Calaid than I do to my office in London.
It really depends what you want in your life outside work.
Your kidding, it's uplifting to live by the sea.Yebbut.... if you live by the coast, 180 degrees of your world is cold saltwater. It's limiting.
