My daughter is moving to Dundee - 4 kids now left home and the only one who's not happy is the one who took a job in England.
Dundee is a great place*, it does seem to get a lot of bad publicity from nobbers.

*And their University was kind enough to let me study there for 6 years. And where my children were born. And where I first encountered kebabs. And the only city I was arrested in (and then escaped cos the Polis left the van door open - this was before I was actually in the Polis in Dundee)
