I'd buy a field with some nice gradients and have myself a nice private mtb / cross track, maybe stick a cobbled climb in too. If the windfall didn't stretch to that I'd just buy stuff I don't need but quite like, which isn't really any different to now!

Nup though I've been meaning to rewatch I CLAVDIVS for a while now. I think hub scythes are an excellent idea and one that I'd do if I had any engineering skill at all.

I’d probably go on a longish, supported tour. Maybe Channel to the Med, which is about 1000 miles and includes the Alps.

Yeah. Peak Tours run several a year.

I did a LEJOG with them a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it.

Not cheap, but worth it I think.

I may well do Channel to the Med with them next year.

A 6 feet high portable wall to stop those sudden gusts of crosswind which we seem to get more of these days. Quite happy with the tail wind mind you. I`am working on a prototype as we speak. I wish !
