i don't usually cycle in winter time but would like to change this.

i went for a bike ride yesterday and i was cold (upperbody) and wondered what the best option is to keep warm. i have had a quick look on wiggle and found this.

also i went on a unlit country lane and my light even on high was not good enough to see were i am going and want a new light which will allow me to see were i am going. which do you recommend budget less than £80

Layers.
That's what you need, layers.

For example, on my bike ride today I wore dhb merino baselayer, an Altura winter jersey and a Montane featherlite jacket.
Once I had warmed up then the Montane came off and was stuffed on my jersey pocket.

A decent base layer and tip combination to draw the sweat away from the body, and winter/cold weather jacket (as expensive as your budget will allow) is always a winner. I get my base layers as standard issue from work and use those so I'm not au fait with decent brands or anything but if their togs are anything to go by decathlon are worth a try.

As for lights I recommend the cateye range (these are on eBay and priced well within your budget). In terms of power output and reliability they are amazing.

Another one for layers, merino wool is the stuff. more or less the same as Ian.

Freezing this morning, lidl leggings, aldi compression polo long sleeved under shirt and mtb long sleeve jersey as outer layer, and of course fingerless gloves.

I get cold very easily. I'm a cold blooded person apparently

A gilet will be handy not exactly a jacket but keeps upper body warm. Worn with a long sleeve jersey you could opt for ls base layer I wore a SS thermal one today.
