Ouch! Hope you get well soon and on the bike too. Personally I'd be delighted if someone thought I was going at 30

Another off, doesn't seem to be a good week this one.

Hope you heal quickly.

Glad you are ok. What pain killers did you get? I was given 600mg Ibuprofen that made me feel sick and couldn't eat without wanting to spew!

Just on normal Paracetamol and Ibuprofen. Hmmm, maybe it was the Ibuprofen on an empty stomach that made me nauseas.

sorry to hear of the off.

ibuprofeb at 600mg on an empty stonmach is not gonna make you feel good.

recommended to take with food or just after,

BTW only anti inflammatory after 400mg

Let me get this straight. She didn't see you - so how did she know how fast you were going?

Its not only your head that is a-spinning ... anyway get well. Those hip bruises take months to come out. Wear it with pride!

Take care there! And heal up soon. Glad it's not a much more serious story. One thing this shows is, many crashes are survivable.

Roundabout and Give Way sign violations are my commonest type of near-miss encounters. In fact I'd rate them as more frequent for me than close overtakes and left hooks. Maybe not just peculiar to me then. I'm often in a hyper state when I see a car waiting to come out.....

Same for me, I've had nausea on Ibuprofen before, so I avoid it now. It must be quite a common side-effect.

Motorists will come out with the most extraordinary, inconsistent and irrational utterances, once they realise they're in the wrong and in danger of being 'nicked'. Sometimes I think you'd get more sense out of an infinite number of monkeys...

There are just too many of these happening ... or is it a normal rate for a forum of this size?

Get well quickly mate, but take photographs of the bruising for the claim and consider getting a referral to a physio from your GP (that way it is official and should be able to add to the compensation you will be chasing - check with whoever's looking after your claim).

Glad to hear you've walked away from that one Gaz. I hope you aren't too stiff tomorrow. Get well soon.

Oh and have a good think about what you want next as a bike

Thank you everyone.

Forgot to mention, driver said the "Sorry Mate, I didn't see you". I nearly laughed. Thing is though she had seen the car in front of me go passed her

Oh and apparently she's told the police I was speeding (it's a 30mph road) I was lucky to be doing 15mph.

Nausea has cleared now, think it might also be because I've not eaten yet but I'll keep a check on it.

Err how can she say you were speeding if she didn't see you?

And if she did see you to form the opinion you were speeding, WHAT THE BLAZES did she pull out for?
