Had a big breakdown at work today. Informed duty technical guy but decided not to call the boss as it would probably ruin his evening.

I'll tell him in the morning and ruin his entire day :biggrin:

Saw this and thought "oh dear, nothing worse than seeing a work colleague snapping under the strain" then saw.......

Well, my boss was exceptionally unprofessional on Thurdsay...I restrained from replying immediately (let's say if he said something like that to me in the street, he'd be staring at the sky.....). I left it, but then wrote a three page report and detailed spreadsheets which outlined issues, and proposed actions to fix them - this will be a first for our place..... cos no-one fixes issues.

Report was ready to email, I got changed, and pressed send as I left for the weekend..........ho hum.......

Colleagues were disgusted with his attitude, but I think I've excelled myself professionally...

Had an even worse morning.
I came up with a temporary fix method and narrowed down what had looked like a big mechanical failure to a much smaller one.

So I didn't have to call him at all :smile:

Working evening shift one of the guys noticed smoke coming out from under the locked lab door, nobody liked the guy whose department it was so just to make him stew, we phoned him up and asked him did he leave anything on that would catch fire and explain the smoke that was piling out from under the door :biggrin:

THEN

We phoned the fire department so they could put the damn thing out.
:smile::evil::biggrin:

It perked everyone up :biggrin:
