World Championships in Norway - About the Fans (No Spoilers Please)

Halfway through watching todays Road World Championships it is very clear that these Norwegians are superb with their support!

The same can be said of them on the TT and the Ladies Road race that I saw too.

Even the commentators passed a remark about how little they could actually see. Kudos to them.

Bergen has done the World's a great service. Tens of thousands of fans out on the roads all well behaved, I only saw one incident of a security man having to push a fan out of the way and that was on the men's time trial.
Well done Norway.

I saw that too. Very harshly ejected from the course. Perhaps showing that was enough for people to take note, or perhaps they're just that much better behaved generally?

They certainly know how to make a noise though. Brilliant!

Bergen looked fabulous and the crowds were amazing. A great success and thankfully all a far cry from last year.

Shame about the loss of TV pictures in the critical last 4km (till the 800m point) though quite entertaining listening to the commentators desperately filling in. You wouldn't have guessed that it was going to all be together as they swung into view. Haircut!

Bergen looked like a very neat model railway when viewed from the sky.

The missing four minutes of helicopter footage can be seen on the web, it's amazing how Sagan works his way to the front by leapfrogging from wheel to wheel, he really is a class rider, cool and intelligent.
