Me and @Hill Wimp (Tom and Barbara) need an organic waste/composting solution for our home. The output would be used as feed and compost for our veg growing.

Pros and Cons of each?
Anybody any experience/use one?

Cheers

Miss Goodbody is becoming fond of Bokashi. At least I think that's what she said. She's invited the Male Voice Choir round tomorrow to show her how it's done properly

Wormery juice goes a long way - diluted.
I'd not have one too close to the back door though.
Bit smelly.
Used to have one on my allotment.
Best ever liquid feed though was comfrey tea.
Comfrey leaves in a barrel and keep topping up with more leaves and more water.
That really stinks.

The compost goes on our veg patches. We must have composted a butternut squash as without planting anything we grew a random one this year!
Yeah, I keep sieving the seeds out (we have to sieve our compost anyway to break it up because it's very dark and solid here - it wasn't quite like that in Somerset, so I don't know if local conditions effect it or what) and putting them through for another go but I fear they might be indestructable!

.. and the benefits of colonic irrigation.
It's a more direct route of getting the quinoa out?
