Worst band ever?

Perhaps the best title for the thread should of been "Most Overrated" rather than worst? Because I've seen some shockingly bad musicians in my time, with lame songs to match, but they never "made it big".

I have a particular loathing for Queen, I can appreciate that others might find them brilliant, they're wrong of course, but that doesn't diminish their belief.

As for The Feeling, death's too good for them!

No, because we've done overrated before. And this time, I just wanted bile and venom, not reasoned argument! Read the OP - it explains everything, including why the rather dull and inoffensive Coldplay could never touch the hellish depths of sheer awfulness of Rush.

Coldplay aren't interesting enough to be worth hating. Hating Coldplay is a bit like hating skimmed milk or cloudy weather. Hating Coldplay is as dull as Coldplay themselves. Ignoring Coldplay is easy. Unfortunately there are some bands whose putrid evil racket oozes from every square nanometre of speaker. And the only thing to do is to burn any musical equipment that has had any suspected contact with the sound waves in question. I don't think I need say any more. Be careful out there.

Really? Their self-satisfied grey drivel is constantly on the radio and where I work, they seem to be the band du jour. Otherwise sensible people insist on parading their lack of taste in full public view "Guess what I got for Xmas?" they crow, and then answer their own question "Coldplay tickets!" they gush as if this is the greatest thing that's happened since they met me!
No, it is difficult to ignore the ****ers!

The Arctic F'king Monkeys deserve a shoeing more than any other band on the planet. Please, if you have an ounce of humanity in your body, kick Alex Turner until he shuts the f'ck up. Thank you.
