Can't agree with FM on the Pogues - awful band. Seemed to think they were better than the music they were ineptly mangling.
Actually i reckon FM would dislike Rush even more if he knew of their politics - at one point i think they were followers of Ayn Rand. Certainly some of their songs have a lot of right-wing guff about forging your own destiny blah blah. I did used to like them but outgrew them long ago.
