Worst band name ever?

I used to play in the Golden Aspidistra Jazz Ensemble - named in homage to 1980s children's tv show The Adventure Game.

That's not a bad name - that's a terrific name!

An acquaintance of mine was half of a duo called Bicycle Thieves.

It rather annoyed me, trivialising something that happened to me around that time.

Probably a reference to the classic Italian film......

It’s an open and shut case ....The Doors, great band but a terrible name.

The Doors name is a reference to an Aldous Huxley book ' the doors of perception' which is about taking mescaline. Huxley took the title from Blake. So they sort of knew what they were doing with that name choice.

Rewatching old series of Parks & Recreation, featuring a band called Mouse Rat.

Bloody good that was - it seemed to disappear sort of mid run, don't know why.
