2001: A Space Odyssey anyone? OK, it was "epic" and "seminal" and all that...but it wasn't half tedious.

You should be banned from watching films.

2001 is brilliant.

Existenz. Dire stuff and didn't understand it at all, but suffered until the end as i'd paid my money! Critics seemed to love it though......

The Abyss. Abysmal - I ended up counting the people in the cinema with bald heads, the people in the cinema who were smoking,.... I guess it's the cinema version of counting sheep.

I spent a summer in the 90s with relatives in Dallas. My small and big C conservative aunt took me to see Waterworld. As revenge, I talked her into coming with me to see "a film about Scotland" ... aka Trainspotting.

Love Waterworld. Existenz was great too.

You miserable thing -a real "sense of wonder" film. Admittedly the ending was a notch or two too twee, but I loved it overall

I go to the cinema very rarely, so I have to back to the 1980s and Dune.

Worst film I have ever seen was The Football Factory which was on telly late at night when I was working away from home and didn't have Sky.

Worst actor in the history of cinema has to be Jason Statham. Eye candy he may be for some, but I have had more talent pass though my bowels today than he has ever shown on screen. Sharon Stone's performance, if you can call it that, in the otherwise very good "Casino" was the worst I have seen from a laydee.

Whilst I do concede Dune really wasn't very good I loved the look of the film and the conjuring up the alien world. Bizarre departures from the book, poor storytelling, plodding acting from on-paper very good cast - hey Sting gives by far the best performance, that's how bad it is. Yet still I rather like it.

Can't see anything wrong with Sharon Stones performance jn Caisino though - totally believable.as the character she's playing
