Can't comment on Eastenders as a lot of you have, as I have never seen it, but take your word that it's crap.

Got to disagree with you there MDB as Monarch had Dawn Steele in it which IMHO redeemed it.

It doesn't matter who was in it, it was still lame - heck, my parents liked it, which usually DOES mean it's s**t

Does anyone remember Land of the Giants and those programs like it ? I wasn't around for the originals but I remember them being on sunday lunchtimes in the 80's.

There was also one based on a Submarine! To be fair, I was too young to really know they were crap, so I'd have to watch them again.

Altho I really did quite liked Lost in Space

WARNING WARNING CRAP PROGRAMME APPROACHING!!

As for stuff i cannot stand,it has to be anything game show

Oh, the likes of Millionaire, Eggheads and Just Connect aren't so bad.

I remember the Sullivans and Triangle and would need to see a repeat to see if they were that bad.

I remember 'The Suvilan's', but wasn't there also one called Sons and Daughters??

What about Take the high road ?? still not sure that was about !

Didn't you read my comment about it earlier??:rolleyes:

I'm actually surprised that no-one has mentioned 'Fantasy Island' or 'The Love Boat' yet.
Someone mentioned 'Crossroads' a few pages back and I've only just stopped shivering.
With taste like my Mum had, it's barely surprising I read a lot as a child...

Ha! Had forgotten about sons and daughters/young doctors etc etc

Eastenders seems to always be on and it seems to be about arguing and being miserable!

I'd also like to nominate wild at bloody heart. Sunday night heart string pulling dribble!

I remember watching 3 2 1 as a kid. I would be completely baffled as Ted Rogers explained the answer to the bemused contestant stood in front of a speed boat in the "look at what you could have won" moment. I was hugely impressed by the way he did 321 with his fingers though.
Others for consideration :

I forgot about My Family, I hate that sh1t. Two Pints Of Lager And A Packet Of Crisps was equally as bad. These crap programs seem to be Britain's take on the US series Friends type of humour. I am really not into Friends either, way overrated and not that funny, but it is way better than My Family and Two Pints Of Lager.

The worst program I have ever seen in my life is The Only Way is Essex.

I lived and worked in Essex (Basildon) for two years, and it fully lived up to all my prejudices about Essex Boys and Girls.

I moved away with the firm conviction that it would be an excellent location for a nuclear testing facility.

It seems to me that Essex bling culture has now been adopted nationwide as "celebrity culture". Awful. Simply awful. It reminds me of the last days of the Roman Empire ... now all we need to restore nature's balance is hoardes of Vikings and Saxons to invade the country ... oh wait! We are descended from hoardes of Vikings and Saxons. Oh, the shame ...

As an Essex boy I say don't tar all of essex with that brush. Only bits of it are like that just like anywhere else.
