I have a single-speed Kona Paddy Wagon and I'm looking to purchase something like this, but I have no idea if this kind of thing would fit. Also installing this rear wheel with its respective shifter, is that something which is easy to go about?

Thanks

i assume your rear dropouts are 135mm? if so, then you can buy a kit which includes the shifter. easy job.

Since the Paddy Wagon is a road bike then I'd expect it has 120mm dropouts. If you want to run drops you'll probably need some of these: http://www.sjscycles.co.uk/8-speed-versa-vrs8-sti-levers-for-internal-gear-hubs-prod21918/

Not a cheap conversion at all. You could probably buy a very decent used road bike for less.
yep, you are right according to the quick google i've just done the paddy is 120mm.i just thought it was ss/fixed frames that were 120mm.
all is not lost tho and it's still cheap, there are sturmey archer hubs at 120mm oln that can be used....try...www.sjscycles.co.uk
