Yep, no worries.

The pictures inside my head are much, much worse.......

Some of my friends do "Urban Exploring" and have taken me on a few trips. I have gone to some really freaky places, but I find it kinda sad and interesting that some buildings are just being left to rot.

My fave place that we visited was a small hospital that hadn't been used in years. It was built to cater for injured people involved in World War II. There were actually two really old iron lungs just left there, and all the doors to the building were just left unlocked!

Here is a pic that another explorer took of one of the iron lungs:

Ross, I think I need friends like that. We did get up the scaffolding on the big theatre in Aberdeen a few years back. Drink had been taken but it was good up top.

Hmm, if I got an SL Pro Carbon frame as an incentive to make sure the place wasn't vandalised, then probably.

There are some really great places around Aberdeen. Richards Mill (the big red brick factory on Hutcheon Street) is always forgotten about, even though you can see the tower for miles!

I went to an amazing castle just out of Aberdeen too. It had been turned into a Hotel but hadn't been used for ages and yet again everything had just been left open and was full of old furniture etc and the office had been left with all the documents of room bookings etc. :-D

I doubt I'd be able to sleep there either and probably wouldn't try until it got light or I got home. I would stay overnight though.

I would *love* to re-develop that place! Turn it into luxury flats; the huge ballroom's vaulted ceiling would make a excellent open-plan penthouse with a mezzanine interior balcony at the height of the bottoms of the windows.

I've bought it

Looking at this photo reminds you that they took cleanliness and hygiene far more seriously then than they do in today's filthy hospitals
