Cracking a solo.
Yes, I'm well aware that I couldn't look cool no matter how hard I tried never mind when I'm in my cycling gear, at least the balaclava hides my face so people may not recognise me.

I wear a polar Buff on my head and one round my neck. If it is really cold I wear a neoprene face mask. I ride until it gets to about -10'but always keep warm.
If you need to wear gloves you can always use woollen ones with a length of elastic. The type your mum used to make you wear when you were a child. That was tha last time I wore a balaclava

5am commute Balaclava all the way, its dark so don't care, keeps me nice and cosy
Somehow an Irish man in a balaclava is a worrying thing...
