Hey Magnatom.
Make sure you're wearing a life jacket when it's wet on that back road. If that video was shot taken where I think it was, a friend of mine turned his brand new car into a submarine up there when he drove into what he thought was a minor flood and it turned out to be several feet deep! Car was totalled & we've never let him forget it.

I love the manic laughing at the end

Only experienced something very similar once over the last 4 years - cycling up Telford Road one morning at around 6.15 when the rain had been torrential for hours beforehand. It was like cycling uphill against a river which was coming downhill. I think I was laughing as much as you as it was very surreal at the time.
