Dont yell at him and maybe apologise for being a plonker.

next time you see an insurmountable obstacle in your way, slow down, maybe stop.
What, slow down and sacrifice a possible PB time or KOM and the associated bragging rights? A smashed up bike and smashed-up rider is a price worth paying for maximum speed.
Hope you recover soon, however this seems another example of cyclist behaviour more focused progress than taking appropriate action when confronted by a potential hazard.
My 70cc two-stroke brush cutter has just asked me to hold it's beer. Why did you think the fella would be able to hear you above the noise of the blower? They're the noisiest garden tool around.
It depends. I was using one a couple of weeks ago as a last operation following some hedge trimming and raking in a local country park.Get well soon. Would have thought it was a bit early in the year to be using a leaf blower not autumn is it?

All of you are very correct. I should most definitely have slowed down and done the safe thing. I think at this point i am more angry at myself for not thinking fast enough to come to that conclusion. I have a CT scan on Thursday to confirm if the wrist or should (or both) are in fact broken. Will keep everyone updated. Thank you for all the feedback and the much deserved finger wagging. Next time I encounter this situation i will know what to do, as i know now exactly what not to do.
