York Cycle Lane

Hi All,

I’m looking to rally support and signatures for a campaign I’m running to get a safe and proper cycle lane established in York City Centre. The transport network up here is a shambles with no real strategy or joined up thinking.
We are currently being consulted in the York area on the new local transport strategy and I’m very keen to what the city council to include the cycle lane as a key part of the plan.

Any support is appreciated, happy to answer questions.

Try to get local cycle clubs and families onboard.
If there any mums and children who would use the route, try their school.

My thoughts too, especially compared to the current disaster that's the ever changing road works in Leeds City Centre, York is cycling heaven compared to that, also they've made the park & ride work really well in York too.
