I'm with the driver - at least show a bit of willing by hugging the kerb.

With the raised kerb and the metal railings i really don't want to be hugging the kerb, even if i was, he would still have to cross the white doubles to overtake me, and thats not taking into account at least 3ft he should give me.

This reminds me of a guy who shouted something like "you've just forced me on to the wrong side of the road you f**king w***ker" after I'd signalled right, in a gap pulled out & taken a secondary position relative to the centre line of the road. I know the location quite well. Just outside the Tesco Superstore; it is a very busy piece of road (the A222 I believe), which adds to the seriousness of his manoeuvre.

May I suggest that you either route your report through, or at least copy it to, your MP. This often encourages the authorities to take action when they might otherwise be inclined not to.

You will probably be required to go to court to give evidence so you need to be sure that you are prepared to go this far. I cannot remember what the rules are about your address being given to the other party but I would suggest that you use a business address rather than provide your home details.

Before looking at the vid I knew it would be that bridge!

Like you gaz, I take the full lane there - there's no room for passing, double white lines or not. It's a pretty fast hump anyway so there's not much point in overtaking and the upcoming Long Lane gives enough time/room to pass.

From videos and pictures it could look wide enough, but it really isn't.
