This had crossed my mind and would take my shoes off straight away of confronted by a car driver!

The advantage of SPD shoes - they still grip!! The cyclist was at fault as well though. If you rest your bike on a car owners bonnet you're asking for trouble. Most driver will protect their cars as much as we protect our bikes!!

Never had an issue when Cycling but had a couple of car drivers decide to get out of car when i have been driving bus, highlight of year when they think they are in right but get shot down.

Seriously though - a great example of meeting a 'nutter' and not realising where it can inevitably lead - hence my camera little dig! IN JEST!!!!!

To be fair, the vast majority of cyclists would see their bike hurled and simply scream and do nothing. This guy didn't. And whilst he was also in the wrong - I feel for him and agree with him..... (WOnder what led to this anyway?)
