Hi

I know, books are like music and your favorites are tomorrows hated

Anyway Im commuting on train/bike between Manchester and Bradford, West Yorkshire via Hebden Bridge (some excellent opportunities for a commute home should the feel the arise  )

So Im reading again, thought I'd ask a bunch of cyclist

I really like Ballard but didn't really get into that one, but should give it another go. My favourites of his are Drowned World, Concrete Island and High Rise - the film if the latter is rather good too

Those are exactly the ones I prefer too...

There are too many books I love, but here are just five novels only...

Mikhail Bulgakov's The Master and Margarita
Italo Calvino - If on a winter's night, a traveller
Robert Irwin - The Arabian Nightmare
Ursula Le Guin - Always Coming Home
George Perec - Life, A User's Manual
