It wasn't dead... It was drunk.

On the last of the cherries - they weren't worth picking and now they're fermenting. And the birds *will* eat them.

I didn't think a rat could sprint at 10 mph, but given the one that did just that in the beam from my front bike light earlier in the year, I was proved wrong LOL

It was the first undead badger I've seen for maybe 10 years or more.

I don't think I've ever seen a live one. Though there's a sett a few miles up the road where the ground's above sea level according to the local mole catcher. Am about 15 ft below sea level here in the fens.
