It just floats slowly over the field, making progress but going slow enough to go back or hover for mice.

I have some paint pens. I was going to give a few snails a name on their shells and see who comes and goes.

I have been putting yellow spots on the shells for years and it's interesting to see how many you see around the garden.

@rockyroller its funny how you get very elaborate and precise nests with some birds, then an osprey produces that pile of crap!

Just as effective though!

just back from a stroll into town. Spotted an otter along the Kennet just on the outskirts of the town centre. Had sight of it for a couple of minutes or so. Made my day did that.

Went to last week to verify that there was one in a peak district river as it had been seen. Turned up almost as soon as i arrived.
