Loads of worms on this morning's damp underfoot walk
Interesting . . . are they?
Because it felt like spring and I haven't had an outing for ages, I took off for the Norfolk coast today.

Blue tits have been very interested in my nest box over the past few days. I have seen one going in but not with any nesting materials. Keeping my fingers crossed . . .

Was that near Horsey?
Yes, it was at Horsey Gap. I've been a few times and I've rarely been disappointed.
I'm only about 1 1/4 hour ride from there - it's great to watch them catching fish. Btw, a good photo you achieved!
One of my blue tit nest boxes near the house is used through the entire winter. Mid-winter I periodically lift off roof and carefully peak inside and a lone blue tit standing there. By that time of year no nesting materials in it (I empty out and clean in autumn so I've guessed out of wind and some insulation? They just live there, occasionally fly the 10m to the feeders/water dish then fly back.Blue tits have been very interested in my nest box over the past few days.
