as my great grandad did, or at least similar
out on his wild boar farm in Sweden with all his family around whilst slaughtering a pig and had a heart attack. will be sheep for me but apart from that then pretty much the same. i plan to keep farming till my death, so as i am farming now (15 years old) and i reckon i will only live to about 75 years old that will be 60 years of farming, not too bad!

As painlessly as possible, having suffered suddenly from Ulcerative colitis, and having endured for the best part of a month, a white, blinding, screaming wall of pain whilst I wasted away so that I was days from death as my bowels gave up, started to come apart and then finally rupture, I sure as heck don't want to have to go through that again!
I have never felt pain like it, and I don't ever want to feel it ever again either!! (It wouldn't have been so bad, but it was the fact that it was over such a long time and there was sod all I could do about it). The upshot is that after staring death in the face, I am now not afraid of dying.

I'm sure yours was bad too, don't worry! Anyway, I'm sure there are worse things anyway, I mean, a month in hospital beds was bad enough, but imagine having some sort of back/spinal or other orthopaedic problem that requires you to sit about for much, much longer, that must be hideously uncomfortable not to mention boring!
