Was talking all things about PC`s at tea-time with my kids and my 12 yr old was astounded when I told him our first ever computer (bought in 1994) came with a massive 4mb of memory!! We even managed to up-grade it to 8 mb after a couple of years!

Spectrum 48k. Even got it out recently, but it broke after my lad knocked the expansion pack. The old transistors didn't like it. He was most upset. Never mind.

My first PC was a 486 SX 25mhz overclocked to 33 MHz, whoooo, cost a grand with a 10mb hard drive and about 1 mb of ram I think.

Sat here on a laptop with 12GB of ram, 1TB of HD, quad core I7 at 3400ghz and a 2gb graphics card. Blooming phenomenal progress.
