The Austin Allegro was so well made that the first 10,000 examples ran for 5 decades without breakdown or corrosion. As a consequence each successive generation had no need to buy a new car and the company bankrupted itself.

Wasn’t it the Allegro that won BL the Square Wheel Award, or some such, BITD?

Amazing place, especially Hells Gates where it once overflowed. It should be salty but it leaks through its bed. Its name means rough water in Masai.

If you look at the fuel guage of any petrol diven car. There will be a small arrow pointing to where the filler cap is .

The newer ones yes. My 2011 Camry did not have this but my 2 023 Camry does.

The main road from Kathmandu to Pokhara and Chitwan runs alongside the Trishuli river along there. About 13km of the road are buried in mud now. There are 45 motorable bridges gone, and I think about 32 suspension bridges that have been ripped to shreds. Proper modern thick steel cable suspension bridges just destroyed. Not the old hemp rope ones of the 90s. Only way in and out to villages on other side is helicopter and being monsoon they can’t always fly. Plus very mountainous tricky terrain

My ex and I took a coach up there 25yrs ago....

I just read this on Google.....I haven't tried to check its validity.
There are more chickens ie young hens in the world than the combined number of all crows, eagles, penguins and owls.
I've no idea why they chose those species.
