A windy club run today, I'm glad I was in a pack, I wouldn't like to been out there on my own. I was going to go back out but the Alpe D'Huez tri has come on eurosports.

A 22 miler today along my favourite Dunfermline to Clackmannan cycle path. Dearie me the wind was VERY strong today, I nearly turned back after four miles  but like a trooper I carried on and was glad I did as I really enjoyed the ride back, wind behind me

32+ miles to get some shopping for my dad, then drop it off for him. Strong side/tail wind first 11 miles. Headwind and uphill (Driffield to Fridaythorpe for anyone familiar) for the next 10. Side/Tail wind and down hill home. Woo hoo.

Just back from one of several today and not the last on my new secondhand bike.

Fiddle a bit, tweak this, turn that upside down, take that off and put one of those on, cup of tea and go out again.

I'm a very happy bunny :becool:

What this new one called and look like?

Black Hewitt Cheviot SE. Sold to me by a very nice chap who let me have first dibs on it even though we had to wait a couple of weeks for me to see it and he could have sold it a couple of times over at least in that time.

There will be plenty of photo's in the coming years.

Couldn't really afford it but couldn't afford to miss out either.

Damn it was windy today! I did 70 miles solo, with most seemingly into a headwind.

Halfway through I scouted the K34/10D which will be the GHS course in 2 weeks (and to see where I've got to be standing). The wind didn't help much either way and I ended up with 26:07. My power was down 50W which is probably due to the fact I've done minimal riding this month.

I wasn't happy with the weather report either - they said it was going to be light cloud and sunny intervals....instead it was dark grey clouds most of the way round apart from a small patch of sun near Alcester as I completed the TT course.

Took my brand spanking Tricross out for the first time. Only did 26 miles but it was all up hill (2800 ft according to the Edge). Managed to get up Birdlip which I never did on the old bike. That third front cog is blissful.

14k round trip to the allotment, carrying 16 kg of produce on the return leg ;)

It was quite hard work into the wind on the way out, but flying on the way home, despite the load

Now waiting for a massive courgette & carrot cake to cool down before icing it
