Up to Royd Moor wind farm, whilst doing a couple of other jobs. 47 miles in total on the bike today.

It was dry, apart from one brief shower, mostly sunny and a quiet day. Windmill Nurseries cafe was busy as ever (where do their customers come from?) including a couple of old dears who were concerned since I'd cycled so far

Just got in from another wheelers ride. This time we climbed "Col Du Mellor" and had the Rapha Coffee van waiting for us at the top. Free coffee and cake is the future!

First time I have done a Cat 3 climb  I was 5th to the top out of 20 odd folks. Rather pleased considering I was walking up easier climbs a few months ago! Loved riding quickly in a big bunch too :hyper: All in all a cracking evening!

Still awake from my ride  but after it pi$$ing down for the last 40hours it actually stopped for tonight's (well last night's as I'm typing this at nearly 2am) Hilly TT. On last weeks TT (my first), I was striking my knee of the clip ons when I stood up to sprint, so I thought with it being a hilly TT I'd be standing up a fair bit, wrong  My back wheel was sliding that much I had to stay seated most of the time on the climbs; I with I had used them now

The plan was for a ride to Corrieris (a cafe in Stirling) in the Summer sun. It didn't quite work out like that! I started to out run the rain as we headed towards Corrieris but it was shut! and whilst I was waiting for the others to catch up, to head back east it turned torrential! We came back by the railway path as the floods were getting pretty dangerous, it was pretty mucky though. Turin brakes, pain killer springs to mind!
