Come to the thinking that nightshift is totally rubbish for me. Started off the week Monday ,Tuesday doing 10 mile each day then Wednesday dawned . Once up at 1pm i gave it a miss because i couldn't stick another day in the wind.I had things on Thursday and Friday so Saturday saw me out on a wee 10 miler . I was useless i was slow, every mile was a struggle. Putting it down to my body adjusting from n/s to normal mode........theres always next week i suppose....
My hubby struggles with adjusting his body clock after his week of night shifts.
I didn't mind mine, but I had dropped to p/t hours once I had the kids so only did 3 nights, a Friday/Saturday (when hubby was home to look after them and I could sleep on the Saturday) plus one in the week.
Saying that, the one in the week was a git, as I had to stay up all day after it (I had 4 kids aged 9, 7, 1 and newborn!)
Needless to say as soon as they were in bed, so was I!
Heading off the main tracks did not seem to help much either, other than being able to sometimes weave between trees to go around people. Went off to find some new tracks (sucessful), my OH tried valiantly to kill me on some of the uphill climbs (unsucessful) - only one defeated me about a metre from the summit - my asthma just too far out of control for me to continue fighting with the climb or it... No photos, for some reason the saddle bag adaptors are not on my mtb saddle anymore but on his saddle instead, so my OH had my saddle bag, which had the camera - apparently it is a really sucessful method of stopping me photographing things.

It's frustrating when you just can't muster the get-up-and-go. I hope next week will be better for you.
