43km out into the Doñana marshes (very dry at this time of year). 32C when I left just after 9am. Good birdwatching on the way. So quiet and peaceful out there in the bundu. The Thorn Sterling is really getting good, the Rohloff bedding in nicely. The frame is superb, really feels part of me. Pothole dodging up the Corredore Verde dirt road and home with a final temp of 40C.

67 miles on the Moulton , Malvern to Dunnington garden centre and back. Lots of cyclists out, I got bored with saying hi to folk....

As it was a club ride there were lots of sprints for the 30 signs and I managed to win a few [ the flatter ones  ]. Lots of fun hammering about on a 40 year old 4 speed shopping bike.... Averaged just under 16mph, slightly held back by one of the guys totally blowing up on the way back [ he owes me a gel ].

Nearly got shoved into a ditch by a mate, but made up for it later by running over his bike pump :biggrin:

Went out at about 6am, the road was wet but there was no rain so I just had my jersey, shorts, helmet, socks, shoes on. About 8 miles in, it started raining and I also came went down a very bad maintained road so I had to rethink my route. About 10miles in the rain kicked in bad and the traffic started piling up, so I decided to only do 15miles today. So I did 15miles which I'm still happy with. When I got in I dried my bike then I dried myself, maybe a cup o' tea soon.

I saw a few commuters on my way aswell.

Bugger, i think i'll give it up as a bad job.
Ride curtailed by the puncture fairy yesterday, so i went for an hours ride tonight...only to cut it short with a bad back.
Sat here now, wincing every few minutes as it spasms

So...about 10 miles today ;)

Nothing more than a short commute today. Real bad back this morning, struggled to get my leg over the seat. Voltarol has eased the pain somewhat through the day, but still very stiff.
They still thought i was mad to bike to work...

Well, here's my ride this evening at 13 miles out. The 13 miles back unfortunately was through the middle of that!

A short 30 miles with a mate; I started out with the club run but he developed a mechanical so I pulled of to help and we chatted away for the short ride back to his place. It seems my luck is finally in with the weather when we got back to his place the roads were soaked, we'd just missed it :-)

I really love going across London Bridge in the morning. The view is just brilliant, and today the sky on the right side of the bridge (going towards Bank) was a lovely shade of pink. It just makes my day ;)

 It was wet!

I went into the city centre (Millenium Point) for an hour. When I left home it was lightly cloudy and I could see some blue sky. I came out of MP and it was tipping it down - I got wet enough just unlocking the bike, but then got completely soaked on the return journey. I've been on an identical journey in similar conditions wearing full waterproofs and overshoes but it doesn't make a difference.....stupid inconsiderate cagers pushing past and forcing me towards puddles - don't they know that riding in the middle of the lane at about the same speed of the traffic means keep back?!
