Woke up an hour late for work, and managed a 47min commute which is my second best, which included lots of red lights and total self-gratification artist cyclists who for some reason, even though i had already overtaken them at the last 5 sets of traffic lights, kept pulling in front of me and blocking me in!! I DON'T WANT TO GO AT 15MPH GET OUT OF MY WAY!!!

I was going to post my ride yesterday but the server was down last night I did a 55miler @16.9mph Granton, Dunfermline, Townhill, around Knockhill, Saline, Oakley, Carnock, Dunfermline, Granton. I got about an hour in the light/ twilight but I really enjoyed the dark bit and seemed to go faster.

Short journey to work - 9 miles, no detours just nice and easy. I've really been hammering myself for the last month taking extra long and sometimes hilly routes home and I think it's starting to wear me out. Because the nights are longer I'm trying to get as much riding in as possible but my legs are paying the price and today they feel so tired and heavy. I don't feel like I have much energy at the moment. Yawn - I could sleep right now to be honest.

I am going for donuts in a jaffa.. (starvin marvin hence food obsessed)
I have just returned from doing the Rourkie CatnFiddle route for the umpteenth time this year.. but the weather was just right.
Became clear that Cheshire Council have wasted another summer by not repairing the atrocious road surface just above Macc.. it's just in the bit where you are trying to settle into a pacy seated climb rhythm.. diggadiggajiggadigga.........
Mind you a got super draft from 3 close formation HGVs further up 14mph to 18 mph in a flash .. brilliant.

oh GEB 50 in Norton in 't Moors.. you obviously have a few problems.. the least of which is having a private plate on a shitty Astra.
self-gratification artist. learn how to accelerate properly.

Second ride this week and both crap.

Nice weather good breakfast before going out.I felt fine but legs did not respond in the same fashion.
Just felt it was all hard work.My mate thinks it could be the virus i had a couple of weeks ago.

Well i'm out this week end on the beer with a freebie meal involved so lets see what next week brings.

I'm sorry but regardless of the car, private number plates are about the saddest thing ever. I can't help but think that a part of what makes humans great dies every time I see one.

I think it is all relative.
I dont have any issue with the Benedict having POPE 1 on his scooter.

Normal commute today, but a late finish meant coming home in the dark. First time i've used lights this autumn.... loads of peeps on bikes, only two of us had lights.
Ah well, here we'll soon go again with the annual clamour in the papers about damn cyclists with no lights.

Rode out on the highway towards Grafton. Got attacked by a Magpie for the second time in 2 days, then a Kangaroo crossed about 10m in front of me. Thankfully i was puffing up a hill so no danger of hitting it.

If you can call it a ride, I went only to local shopping centre about 3 miles away on the recumbent trike as it was so windy. Blew me back but as I'd got half the supermarket strapped onto the back didn't notice it so much. It was great as they'd resurfaced a bumpy road since I last rode it so it was a smooooooth ride.
