ColinJ

Puzzle game procrastinator!
Yesterday evening's eclipse-watch ride was a bit of a failure in terms of actually seeing what the moon and sun were doing, but all was not lost - the light was gorgeous, and I crammed a lot of climbing into a short ride - 695 m in only 28.7 km (2,280 ft in 17.8 miles).

And on the next climb...

As for today... My cunning plan had been to hide from the sun until it eases off this evening, but a friend just rang and asked me to pop over to Hebden Bridge for coffee and cake in the next hour or two so I will be out at scorchio time. If a charred heap of ColinJ ashes is found on the A646... it was nice knowing you!

I expect that I will probably want to rush back to the shade afterwards. If I do, I will see about a second ride later on. If I want extended charring time, I might head off to do my Cragg Vale loop...
