Another utility run yesterday; usual fare - a bit of food, a reasonable session on the rings (felt a bit guilty for not offering an inquisitive girl a go as I think she was too shy to ask and I wanted to get home). Managed to spend nearly seven quid on a pint in the Lamb and Flag, which wasn't welcome
Did a little bit of end-of-season snipping, to the delight of a passing oriental woman who'd apparently been accosted further down the tow path by brambles and whose gratitude and compliments were very much appreciated
The city was very odd yesterday - conspicuously very quiet when I went in early afternoon but ridiculously busy later on... possibly not surprising post-five except that I reckon a lot of the apparently suicidal pedestrians encountered were tourists and students.
Glorious autumn colours everywhere - very much trying to make the most of this last hurrah before subjected to the full misery of the winter.
