Fabulous walk today, only 5 miles but included two golden eagles and a great view of a white tailed eagle. And two red squirrels for good measure. Took in Creag Bheag and Tom Baraidh.

Beginning to feel a little sharper in the Mornings on our walks 🐾 But still very-very pleasant indeed 😁
Infact; my recent Strava ‘memories’ from exactly a year ago accordingly: each day - showing nothing but wet / windy; and my Titles indicate it wasn’t very nice at all. So be pleased for that !
Found some new lanes / wooded tracks etc this Morning. And had to think about my inner compass as we went. All good fun 👍

Nippy morning today.. Foggy, too!
Still, Bonnie enjoyed stretching her little legs; as did I!
With a café stop for a tea for me and a free sausage for Bonnie.. 👍

With my girl 🐾 sidelined with a Torn Tricep; I took the opportunity to do a longish one myself around the Town (Lowestoft) this Morning. Very pleasant it was too…..
Up at stupid o'clock to drive to Flash, the highest village in the Britain, apparently, for a solo hike that I'd planned on OS.
First place I wanted to see was Three Shires Head. Slightly mis-timed it as it was still dark 🤷♂️
Interesting place, though, and I intend visiting again (in the early morning to miss the ctowds!)
Still wearing my head-torch, I navigated myself to Ludd's Church, a place I've visited before. Once again I beat the crowds 🙂
Beautiful place to visit.. 😎
At least it was light by then!
The rest of the hike was through woods & fields with plenty of livestock to shoo out of the path.. 🐮
Slightly concerned about the double ended guardians of the gate! 😋
A tiny cow even stood atop my poles!! 😲
I did divert to Flash Bottom but there there was nothing there except a junk heap, sadly.. Not even a photo of a sign.
With a few diversions & a wrong turn, I ended up on 11¼ miles quite happy with the day even though it was cloudy and I never saw the sun ☀️

Yesterday's walk, as usual, was while I was at work..
Not a bad sunrise considering how cloudy it was!
One bright pebble amongst many darker ones.
Just under 3 miles but better than sitting in a truck after 3 hours drive there & the same back to the depot!

What a Morning for a decent Coastal hike. Just gorgeous……
Nippy walk this morning with Bonnie and Teddy the grandkids Bonkers Cockerpoo..
We stopped half way round for a bacon sandwich for me & free sausages for them 👌
4 miles walked though Teddy did an extra one meandering around things to sniff.
