I've been giving it all I had up a long hill on Zwift only to be overtaken by someone with a heart rate of around 100 more than once
I really like Zwift for all sorts of reasons that I won't bore you with here but I get that others don't. Each to his own.
I just mean where you can find his power output. I didnt mean that how you can find out how it comes.
Only i know is what can effect that. Different trainer, trainer difficulty settings and weight setting. When i had Bkool Smart Pro 1 it gived too good power readings. Now i have Elite Drivo 2 what shows realistic much lower power readings. Then you are not answering the question of how the OP determined the older man has lower power. It cannot come from Zwift for that would be a contradiction.

If this is a strava segment, wouldn't you know his power per segment there? Can't remember now, but does strava show weight too? Zwiftpower does, so if you can find the rider there you could know both there power and weight and hence w/kgBut since the OP nor you know the actual power of the older man this is just speculation. You are starting with the premise the older man has a lower power / weight ratio but his trainer offsets that. Truth is, neither the OP nor you know which is the case.

I'm like others though, I doing care about others I don't know. I've ridden with many on here in real life so I know where I stand in the pecking order - zwift reflects that quite well for our little group. All other riders in any race are merely there to be chased down, whether they have real power and/or speed is totally irrelevant.
Its all good fun and a way to try and get fit![]()
Zwift uploads to Strava so it is Strava virtual ride.Read the OP it is not Strava
Can i suggest you read the original 3 posts ... yes it is StravaRead the OP it is not Strava
Zwift speeds and power outputs on Strava are often complete rubbish. I see people I have ridden with in the real world putting out power outputs and speeds I know they can't in real life. I suspect some turbo trainers with built in power are not always very accurate. However if it motivates you to keep your fitness levels up go for it. Turbo training definitely is a very effective method to maximise your fitness levels if you have an effective programme and stick to it.
