It often happens automatically but I always take one to be sure. Normally hunched over the bars struggling to breathe!
When i was watching last night i did wonder where you'd gone and just assumed you didn't make the start. I saw all the others in a group on the flats - you must have been some distance behind at that point and riding (mostly?) alone. First time I saw you was on the volcano, when Lee was descending. To have made up the lost time, and catch Andy and Martin is some feat on your own :notworthy: Almost ready to move up to A cat  :giggle:

Never seen this before. I can only assume 1 or 2 things happened. Either the riders FIT file is corrupt or didn't load up to Zwift (can check this by re-loading manually to Zwift) or, the meetup start was quite the same for each rider and some started ahead of the Zwift segment 'start' point. I guess this last one is very possible as riders don't start on exactly the same spot. Weird though

I guess this is one reason why organised races, with results in ZP, are an advantage if they are available. Given we are looking to do races on Thursdays (and/or maybe Tuesdays) we could just see what is being organised within Zwift on those days/times and pick one for us all to join. If there is nothing then the meetups can be a good fall back. Obviously with Zwift races drafting of others is a 'risk', but outside of ToW there won't be massive race numbers so less of a problem (and still fun to race others too!)

I'm easy all ways though. Just happy to race :bicycle:

Now I remember, Bob and Andy (more so Bob) kept disappearing and then re-appearing during the race.

My file seems fine. My phone froze and I had to turn it off/on but during that time I never lost sight of you or Andy.

OK what seems to be the problem with the segments on Strava not picking us all up is that the meet-up ride finish line was obviously way before the "Zwift Insider Verified" segment finish line, and not all of us carried on to that point. There's another segment more of us are picked up on becuase it finishes earlier, but still Adam didn't go far enough to be on this one either. Obviously both those Strava segments are pretty useless for our league anyway becuase no one would have been riding hard after crossing the meet-up finish line.

So I think the only thing to do is for me to try creating a new segment which finishes where our finish line was - which I can see from the analysis (i.e when the speed and power suddenly drop).

Edit - done it now - just waiting for Strava to sync everyone elses ride to the leaderboard....

Isi it possible that Andy's time is missing because of his privacy settings?.
No, I think it's just where the finish line for the segments are is beyond the finish point of the meet up and Andy stopped before then. @CXRAndy I don't think the weird straight line on your Strava ride will affect it because it is before the start. Hopefully this new segment I have created will pick us all up, including you - I have moved the start of it ahead slightly to make sure no one is missed out, and it stops right where we all stopped trying (I.e the finish line we saw on the ride)

I know I wasn't there last night, but my assumption looking at the Zwift official segment was it would be from (roughly) the start gate to the official finish line at the arch. I think all/most Zwift official segments go to a finish line of sorts (usually depicted by archways). In the meetups I always push to the next archway just in case

Well done for working it out Bridgy. And thanks again for organising it all mate.

I think we can just call this stuff teething problems. It’s good that it’s sortable worse case scenario by the look of it.

My personal preference is to persevere with the meet ups rather than joining other races. Of course we can do both. But I like the fact that it is ours and we’re building it up. And also get to choose our own courses.
