I had one of those, only lasted about 18 months. I'm fairly corrosive on hrms :shy:. ZRL doesn't give out dqs if you start with it and have a decent amount of readings I think
I’ve started without the HRM paired, paired after about 10minutes in a wild panic, and wasnt DQ’d.

Edit: I've been upgraded to B


I raced Friday. Didn't realise it was a all-cat start so I went haring off as usual and was dying trying to hang on to lead group, of As and Bs, before realising the fastest Cs and mid Bs (with @IrishAl ) were a few seconds behind. I dropped off the lead group before having heart attack, and picked up Al's group.

We sat with that group, picking up others along the way, for the whole race. Popped at the top of the KoM but just about held on to a little group with Al.

I assumed I'd gone into B as I've never worked so hard ... but I was still 'nearly B' .... Steve worked out that had I average 1 more watt I'd have gone into B :laugh:

Definitely wasn't holding back. Was racing with a group of Bs and pushing as hard as I could, and still not quite in B :wacko: I think the next mixed race will see me in B for sure :okay:

I think it does an average of your best recent races or something?

Think I initially went into B because I kept doing crits. Resulted in fighting to the death for 70th place in the WTRL races :laugh:
It's your 3 best 20 minutes over the last rolling 90 days

I'm now in B :okay:

I'm not going to bore everyone on here with umpteen training updates but if anyone wants to see how it's going, get any ideas or just mock me :laugh:. I have added a link to my blog and Instagram in my signature. I'm hoping to update weekly with my progress and what the programme entails. Slow start to the amazing content this week but as i get used to it all the quality 'should' improve. Feedback always welcome :okay:

Lost 5lbs last week so if that continues I'm hoping I might be able to get some more ZRL points this season.

And whilst I'm here good luck to the B Team tomorrow! 👍
