I've used it for a while - ditched cycling analytics for it and wouldn't go to anything else now. It is a great tool, and at the best possible price point!

Here is my previous 52 weeks:

The big dive on the left is after the snip. The big dive on the right is the whole month of December!!

Now building back from near as anything zero. These charts help me to see progress but also manage the progression and try to avoid over training.

Hoping to get back to my former self this spring/summer. Before the snip I was competitive enough for me to enjoy the B Cat ZRL races. I'd be spat out the back in an instant these days, but aiming to get back there!

I cannot recall who recommended Intervvals.ICU but i really like it. I have been trying to get my fitness up before Majorca without overdoing it and this little snapshot gives an idea of what you can see and monitor. Probably more important for us older peeps :

I use Garmin Connect with a Fenix watch. I mainly use HR variability and body battery to monitor my recovery and fatigue.

My heart rate resting is around 37bpm now, anything over 40 and orange spikes in the body battery indicate Im still recovering, need more rest.

It clearly indicates I need 40 hours minimum to recover from an high intensity event.

So 3 races is plenty with low intensity or complete abstinence from exercise a week :okay:

I need more and more Z2 endurance training because i am not in good physical shape despite of long cycling "career". For me endurance training is productive and it minimize recovery time. Nice to do ride next day when you feel that you are recovered.

This is my body battery score on Sunday after 62 mile Kiss endurance event. Subsequent fatigue for the remainder of the day. I stayed like this until midnight

I use Golden Cheetah for my metrics. No specific reason - I recall someone mentioning it so downloaded and haven't looked back since. Has so many stats that you can loose hours analysing yourself - if you want to.

You will see above just how silly that push that lead to injury was and that I've been taking it easier after coming back.

Interestingly, my hardest relative effort as well as highest anaerobic stress to date was that Innsbruck round of Tour de Splitters :okay:
